The Weeknd breaks the record of Post Malone for having a single continuously, a longer period in the Top 10 of the Billboard Hot 100.
Posty’s single ‘Circles’ was in the Top 10 of the Billboard Hot 100 for almost 39 weeks as the longest. Now the Weeknd’s single ‘Blinding Lights’ has broken the record by being in it for 52 weeks.
According to the latest update by Billboard, the song ‘Blinding Lights’ currently ranks at the 3rd position of the Billboard Hot 100 chart, released via XO/Republic Records, from their album After Hours.

No matter how many records the Weeknd breaks, their is not even a single nomination for the ‘Blinding Lights’ hitmaker in the Grammy’s.
In a previous interview with Billboard, the singer said: “I personally don’t care anymore.
“I have three Grammys, which mean nothing to me now, obviously. It’s not like, ‘Oh, I want the Grammy!’ It’s just that this happened, and I’m down to get in front of the fire, as long as it never happens again.”
