Kanye West gets banned from Twitter.
In the past couple of days, Kanye West shared screenshots of his contracts with record labels, including the former NBA star Rick Fox.
The American rapper blames records labels including Universal and Sony. He says that record label contracts are a trap. He posted a Tweet regarding this. “90% of the record contracts on the planet are still on a royalty A standard record deal is a trap to NEVER have you recoup, and there’s all these hidden costs like the ‘distribution fees’ many labels put in their contracts to make even more money off our work without even trying.”
He did not stop from posting that. The rapper posted another Tweet regarding Universal Music. He posted, “UNIVERSAL WONT TELL ME WHAT MY MASTERS COST BECAUSE THEY KNOW I CAN AFFORD TO BUY THEM … Everyone please cover me in prayer …
“I AM ONE OF THE MOST FAMOUS PEOPLE ON THE PLANET AND UNIVERSAL WONT TELL ME WHAT MY MASTERS COST BECAUSE THEY KNOW I CAN AFFORD THEM … BLACK MASTERS MATTER (sic)”
After posting all of these tweets, Kanye West gets banned from Twitter for 12 hours. Kanye sents a message to all his followers through his friend, Rick Fox.
“My friend @kanyewest wants you all to know that he was kicked off of @Twitter for 12 hours,” the 51-year-old NBA star said.
