Metallica donate $295,000 in coronavirus

Metallica has announced the second wave of relief grants dedicated to lending a helping hand to those in need of financial support amid the coronavirus pandemic.

The Metalica’s charity, All Within My Hands, has pledged a total of $295,000 to be divided between five charities:

1.) Feeding America
2.) Direct Relief
3.) Live Nation’s Crew Nation
4.) the Bartender Emergency Assistance Program (BEAP)
5.) MusiCares.

“We are truly overwhelmed by the generosity of fans and friends around the world as many continue to face unimaginable challenges in the wake of the Coronavirus pandemic. Thanks to your contributions to our fundraisers during #MetallicaMondays,” All Within My Hands shared in a statement.

The first instalment of relief grants saw the Metallica donate $350,000 back in April.

During this period of lockdown, Metallica Band has spent their free time chipping away at new stuff via their home studios.

Harry Styles Sleep Story On The Calm App

The Calm App is going to partner with Harry Styles to bring his voice to the app. Styles will narrate his voice for a 30-minute sleep story. The app title given is “Dream With Me.”

During a press conference, Styles explained how Sleep and meditation helped him during his career as a Musician. “Sleep and meditation are a huge part of my routine, whether I’m at home, in the studio, or out on the road. Rest and recovery is as important as doing the work. Finding a balance has been endlessly beneficial to both my physical and mental health. It’s changed my life. I’m so happy to be collaborating with Calm at a time when the world needs all the healing it can get. Treat people with kindness,” Harry said.

Many other stars also contributed to the app among Harry Styles. LeBron James, Laura Dern, Matthew McConaughey, Kelly Rowland, Lucy Liu, and more are among them.

Karolina Protsenko posted a thank you statement on her official Facebook Page. She thanked her fans, followers, and subscribers for the help given in the current situation and regarding the scammer attack.

“My dear FRIENDS!!! As many of you already know, my YouTube channel Karolina Protsenko Violin (3.98) was attacked by the scammer https://www.youtube.com/c/KarolinaProtsenkoViolin/. Two of my videos were deleted and my channel got 2 strikes. Just so you understand on the 3rd strike the channel is blocked and deleted. The scammer from Russia used fake certificates from copyright society, which stated that allegedly his copyright was violated. On top of that, he extorted money from my family, ” she said.

“Last night we expected our channel to be blocked. In the morning, a couple of hours ago, when my mom opened up my YouTube channel she began to cry.
These were tears of joy and gratitude because my videos were restored and the strikes were removed. I can’t even begin to explain how happy I am. The scammer is held accountable now.
And with great gratitude, I am writing this post. I want to thank all of my friends, subscribers, and followers for your support, for sharing my story. I know that thousands of you were praying for God’s guidance and justice to triumph, ” Karolina said.

She also thanked the people who helped financially. “Many of you have supported me financially through my PayPal,” she said.

“And there is literally no way to describe how grateful I am. And as I wrote in one of my previous posts – good always wins.
But the most grateful I am to my Heavenly Father. I know that He was always there in control.
Also, I want to say a big thank you to my friends here, who tried to help and provided me with valuable information and contacts of people who could help! “

Karolina also expressed her journey on YouTube. “I am so happy that I can continue my violin journey on Youtube and make you all happy with music. This is the post of celebration and victory! My heart is so full that I want you to feel my joy, gratitude, and love for you all. Please take it and spread it to your family, friends, and loved ones. Together we are strong. Together we won,” she posted on her official Facebook account.

“There are no words to express how bad I feel about the ways I’ve mistreated people throughout my life and career. All I can say is that I’m sorry. It’s that simple. This period of isolation and reflection made me realize that I needed to make significant changes in my life. I’ve gotten past the point where I would be apologizing just for the sake of being let off the hook and I know full well that any apology from me probably won’t be accepted by those I’ve hurt. I get that and I also understand that there’s no going back. “It’s challenging because I feel like in many ways I’ve said all I want to say about him and that situation, but I find it curious that someone would make a public apology, but not do it privately. I am speaking for myself but I have not heard from him, and I am not looking for an apology necessary, but I do find it curious that someone would do an interview about it without actually making amends privately, ” she said to Today show.
