Dua Lipa gets in trouble after posting a paparazzi photo of herself on Instagram.
Who would have thought of getting sued for posting their own photo on social media. In this situation, the photo was taken by a paparazzi in 2019 at an airport. Legally the ‘Levitating’ hitmaker has no ownership of the image even it’s herself in the image. The singer has been sued for sharing it “without permission or authorisation”. She uploaded the photo after 4 days since it was taken.
These days many artists use their social media accounts to promote their music and image, simply it’s a marketing tool. As reported, Dua Lipa has also profited from the photo and the company is asking $150,000 (£108,000) for the damages.
