The 75 years old singer also shared the value of having such a recognizable medal, but she has no interest to receive it in the future.
“Now I feel like if I take it, I’ll be doing politics, so I’m not sure,” the singer continued.
“I don’t work for those awards. It’d be nice, but I’m not sure that I even deserve it. But that’s a nice compliment for people to think that I might deserve it,” she added.
It’s in the news that Dolly Parton’s $1 million donations for Vaccine development have not got the legendary country singer a shot at it. She talked about it during an interview with CNN. “I’m going to get it, though,” she said Thursday. “I didn’t want to jump line,” she shared while adding, “I didn’t donate the money so I could be protected. I did it for everybody.”
