Taylor Swift won 3 major awards out of 4 categories and they are Artist, Female Artist Pop/Rock, and Video. Unfortunately, she couldn’t come to the show, but she accepted the awards through a virtual video from her studio. “BIG congratulations to @taylorswift! She’s taking home the award for Artist of the Year as well as Favorite Music Video and Favorite Female Artist – Pop/Rock! #AMAs,” wrote AMAs on Instagram.

The ‘Blinding Lights’ hitmaker won 3 major awards, ‘Album Soul/R&B,’ ‘Song Soul/R&B,’ and ‘Male Artist Soul/R&B.’ The Weeknd appeared on the show wearing a bandage mask on his face and performed “In Your Eyes” and “Save Your Tears.”
“The weekend is almost over but the @theweeknd just won 3 #AMAs tonight ,” wrote AMAs on Instagram.

Finally, the show ended with a performance by the biggest boy band BTS performing their latest hits ‘Dynamite’ and ‘Life Goes On.’ The group won all the awards they were nominated for, Duo or Group – Pop/Rock and Social Artist. AMAs also posted a teaser of their performance on Instagram. They wrote: “How does life go on after that @bts.bighitofficial world premiere performance? West Coast, the #AMAs are still going on ABC right now!”
The AMAs 2020 was broadcasted live from Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles, Nov. 22.
