As reported, a mother has named her three children with big band names.
According to news shared by Kiwi filmmaker David Farrier, an unidentified woman has told him that her children were named Metallica, Slayer and Pantera. David tweeted that the woman also said, “it’s not easy raising three of the heaviest bands.”
David Farrier who is also a Journalist has seen the three kid’s birth certificates. As an executive producer of Netflix’s 2018 documentary series Dark Tourism, David reached the New Zealand Registrar General Jeff Montgomery to confirm it. David asked if there’s any restriction of naming newborns after band names. The registrar replied saying that “there are no restrictions on naming babies after bands or albums, as long as the word used is not generally considered to be offensive or does not resemble an official rank or title.”
However, any member of the three bands has not yet responded to this news.
The 38-year-old filmmaker also mentioned that the mom has a thing for crossbows. He wrote: “finally, i think it’s important to note (as you can see in the photo in my article) this mother is also a big fan of crossbows which are also truly metal and she deserves our complete and utter respect for this (and for raising three kids)”.
