A Spotify record by The Weeknd as the artist with the most monthly listeners on the streaming platform.
The record was previously held by the Canadian singer Justin Bieber who passed the 90 million monthly listeners mark. At the time the ‘Justice’ hitmaker broke the record by achieving 94,509,648 monthly listeners on Spotify. Now the record is broken by the ‘Blinding Lights’ hitmaker as he got 85,667,564 monthly listeners. However, Justin Bieber is still the first artist to pass the 90 million mark on the platform.
